Training to Win 2020 was an online grassroots extravaganza designed to help activists and organizers pivot to effective virus free, online electoral action. It was hosted by a greatest-hits list of amazing grassroots orgs. We heard from Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Congressmembers Karen Bass and Adam Schiff, and Pod Save America’s Dan Pfeiffer about the crucial role the grassroots are playing in this year’s election. A dozen workshops at all levels followed. The day was capped off by a panel discussion featuring leaders from Indivisible, MoveOn, Sister District Project, Swing Left, and Women’s March Action.
